The Billy Redmayne Memorial Fund

Billy Redmayne was 25 when he lost his life in a racing incident in April 2016 at Oliver’s Mount in Scarborough.

Welcome to the Billy Redmayne Memorial Website promoting the Billy Redmayne Memorial Fund and working tirelessly to raise resources to ensure a secure future for motorcycle racing, up and coming riders and related charities.

Our aim is to support as many people as we can through the Billy Redmayne Memorial Fund and to keep Billy’s memory alive .... we'd be extremely grateful if you could help!

Well!.. In a months time, myself, Aaron and Benjamin are off on our next adventure! The Monkey Run! This time we're off to Peru! We'll be riding from Ayyucucho going across the Andes mountains and into the Amazon Rainforest to the finish, travelling around 1000km over 8 days on all kinds of terrain on tiiiiinyyy little motorcycles. Monkey Bikes! Check out the photos to see what these 5hp, 90cc little beast are all about! We've also vowed to take this on without the use of our phones for navigation and accommodation so I'm sure that's gonna make things interesting!

In doing so I'm trying to raise a bit of cash for The Billy Redmayne Memorial Fund which is very dear to my heart. These guys supported me in a big way when I was taking on the Manx Grand Prix as a newcomer. I genuinely might not have managed it without them. So if you'd like to sponsor us a few quid that would be amazing! And be sure to check out their page. I've set up a gofundme with the link below.

Any support will be really appreciated. I'll try and post updates and maybe some videos on how we're doing along the way to the best of my abilities (not sure how the signal is in mountain ranges and jungles tbh) you can also track us through the Monkey Run website or the wayward App. (More on that to follow) Cannot wait to get started! (maybe also a little nervous) wish us luck!

Sue Redmayne writes "These are the things that kept my Son alive. Be it his wit, his addiction to speed on the TT course, or the adrenilin rush he got from the two way rifle range of Afghanistan. Or was it being at home with family and friends on the Isle of Man.? All of the above made him pack into twenty five years, what some people don't do in a lifetime."
